Dangerous Philosophy One of the best short stories I've ever written, in my opinion. I wrote it during April '08. I've finished editing it and it's currently being submitted to various magazines. Genre: Thriller. Word count: 6,000 words Short synopsis: A confused teenage girl looking for meaning drags her boyfriend along to a forum on philosophy-- situated in the middle of the graveyard. Thinking that it's just an innocent discussion of the soul and the afterlife, they stay. But things take a turn for the worse when the forum leader starts informing the group about a sinister suicide cult... Time A short story that I'm currently working on as a secondary project. Genre: Thriller/Horror. Word count: 1,000 words as of 30-04-08 Short synopsis: Coming soon! Downstream A short story that, I have to admit, I'm suffering through writing due to its fish-out-of-water genre. Genre: Western. Word count: 500 as of 18-05-08 Short synopsis: An unbalanced, open-minded champion with repressed memories is a constant client of the local Saloon. After one visit, to a Saloon girl who particularly fancies him, he sends her down to prepare his horse. When there, she finds an unmarked, worn down tin. She becomes curious and puts it in her bag. Once she opens it, she discovers a deep secret about the champion's past. |
